Build water confidence and safety skills this summer
Our swim lessons follow the American Red Cross Swimming Levels – designed to support all ages and abilities
Levels 1 through 5 (course outline below)
All ages welcome once potty trained
Session 1 & 2 are two-week 30-minute sessions, mornings: Monday through Friday
Session 3 is a one week 30-minute session, mornings: Monday through Friday

Level 1 – Introduction to Water Skills
- Learn to enter/exit water safely
- Submerge face, blow bubbles, open eyes underwater
- Front/back glides, floats, rolls, treading water
- Basic arm/leg actions
Level 2 – Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills
- Enter/exit water independently
- Bobbing, front/back floats with support
- Combined arm/leg actions on front/back
- Treading water for 15 seconds
Level 3 – Stroke Readiness
- Swim front crawl 10 yards, back crawl 10 yards
- Jump into deep water
- Elementary backstroke 10 yards
- Bobs in water over head
Level 4 – Stroke Development
- Deep water bobs, standing dive
- Elementary backstroke 25 yards
- Front/back crawl 25 yards (pool length)
- Breaststroke & sidestroke kick with kickboard
Level 5 – Stroke Refinement
- Front/back crawl 50 yards
- Breaststroke & sidestroke 10 yards
- Elementary backstroke 25 yards
